Jimmy Shinn joins CJ Hester Inc with over 32 years of multiline claims experience, including negotiating/mediation and litigation resolution. He began his career with Crawford and Company before being hired by Aetna.

He worked for Aetna/Travelers (merger) until retiring from Travelers September 2009. Besides being a heavy casualty adjuster/investigator, including workers compensation, he has experience in CAT work, having worked Hurricanes Fredrick, Hugo and Ike. He also has a background in hail storms in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

Jimmy received a BS in Secondary Education from the University of South Alabama. He is licensed in Alabama, Florida and Mississippi.
