Cathy J. Hester began her insurance career in 1976 and has over 30 years of experience as an independent claims adjuster. Cathy is a multiline adjuster with heavy casualty and property (Xactimate) experience, including environmental, malpractice, fraud, truck liability and liquor liability. Cathy has attended many mediations and has served as trial monitor for many court cases.

Cathy attended the University of Wisconsin/Stout State University with a major in Psychology. She has completed the General Insurance Program, Associate in Claims, 33, 34 & 35. Cathy is a member and State Chairman of the Council of Litigation Management (CLM), National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters (NAIIA), Mobile Claims Association (MCA), Montgomery Claims Association (MCA), Atlanta Claims Association (ACA), Alabama Workers' Compensation Organization (AWCO), Mississippi Claims Association (MCA), National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators (NSPII), American Association of Managing General Agents (AAMGA), Property Loss Register Bureau (PLRB/LIRB) and Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA). Cathy has served on catastrophe teams.
