David McCollum is currently working in our North Alabama claims office, and has over 30 years of experience in the claims business. David has a background in handling multiline, including all types of property and casualty claims. He is trained in Xactimate for the handling of property claims. He began his adjusting career with Crawford and Company , Florence, Alabama in 1977. As he continued his career with Crawford and Company, he transferred to Macon Georgia as a supervisor in 1987 before being promoted to Branch Manager in Columbus GA in 2000.

David graduated from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa in 1976 with a BS in Marketing.

David has served as President of the Shoals Area Claims Association and President of the Columbus Claims Association. He also received the honor of being named Claimsperson of the Year in Columbus, Ga. in 1994.

David is licensed in Alabama.
